Things to Buy Next Week

Next week is going to be the first week of February. And I’ve got a few things I need to buy. I really want to buy these things so I decided to blog about it so as not to forget it.

 

First, let’s take a look at the stuff I want to buy for myself.

 

1. 1. Red Logo’s FUEL Leggings and Jeans combined. I’m a member of Red Logo Co., thanks to my friends Louie and Dennis who recruited me; I get a 20% discount on every purchase at Red Logo.

 

2. Shoes! Not exactly a Melissa brand, but something that looks like it would do. And I found tons of it in different colors that fits me at SM.

3. A Shirt! It must be quite long like in the picture below. I was thinking of maybe in Yellow color this time. I want something that people could see me. LOL!

 

4. Level Up Cards! I need to buy Level Up cards to load up for my Grand Chase Philippines Online game ‘coz I really want this Armor set and accessories for my main character. Gosh! I’m an addict to this game! LOL!

 

Now let’s take a look on some of the stuff I want to buy for my precious ones.

 

5. USB BLUETOOTH – for my cousin Cheska! It’s actually my late Holidays gift for her.

6. A cake for my brother Carlo! It’s his birthday next week so I just have to buy him one!

 

7. Finally, everyday as me and my cousin Barbie walk home from the sporstcenter where we jog, we always pass by on this restaurant beside a hotel. And I have always been intrigued with their food. Barbie and some of my friends say that they serve really good food in reasonable prices. I want to take my dad out to dinner next week on this restaurant – Honeybaked!

Refreshed

Last year was a year that wasn’t really all good to me. But of course, I have learned a lot. You can’t really have everything but you can always take one day at a time. Last year was like “one minute you’re happy and the next minute you’re sad.” Health was really my main concern last year. I was admitted twice in the hospital due to asthma and the other one was because of stress. I even had several visits with my doctors. I was struggling with a series of palpitations, nervousness, insomnia, heavy breathing, anxiety, and nausea and vomiting for almost two months – November until December. Well, primarily because I was living a very unhealthy lifestyle. I ate too much and consumed too much fat, cholesterol, sodium and sugar. Not to mention, I was fat! I was even diagnosed with mild hyperthyroidism.

 

But that was all last year. I started my 2011 right. My doctor told me that she won’t put me on treatment. She wants me to overcome it myself by starting to live a healthy lifestyle. So I decided to modify my lifestyle and start living healthy. I started to watch my diet and the best of all, I started to jog. I got a new job too which is really fun because I had to write all about bikes – from mountain bikes to street bikes, you name it!

 

It’s been more than a month since I started to jog and since I started to live a healthy lifestyle. I lost 20 pounds and I feel great. My palpitations never came back. The nervousness, insomnia, heavy breathing, anxiety and nausea and vomiting were all gone. I eat the right kind of foods; the healthy ones. Now, I can truly say that my life is getting better. I am REFRESHED! I feel beautiful inside and out and I am happier being single and I just happen to enjoy and appreciate what I have – my family and friends. I know this will continue for a long time because now I know how to weigh things in terms of clarity and my future. I feel lighter with my body; I feel like I can wear anything I want without hiding myself under a sweater. It’s just amazing how God turned everything for the best. And I am truly – truly thankful with a joyful heart and a peaceful mind. I know my soul isn’t totally cleansed yet but I am getting there. Truly in a war, prayer is your best weapon.

Top 5 Songs I’d Randomly Dedicate to My Ex’s!

I had a lot of past relationships both serious and the not so serious ones. And some of them have somehow contributed to my growth as a human being. Yesterday has come and gone! And there’s really nothing to dig on ‘em. But if given a chance to dedicate a song to a few of them a few days back right after our break-ups, this would be my top 5 list:

5. Over It - Katherine Mcphee

There was really this one guy whom I was really crazy back in 2006. He was full of shit! LOL And this song fits him best! We bumped into each other one time, and he thought I was still on him. He was like flirting with me and stuff and I turned him down like a bomb of dog poop dropped into his face. He was so bummed up! Weh!

 

 

4. Life Goes On -Leann Rimes

This song is pretty much for all of them. Well, at least for the serious ones.

 

 

3. Irreplaceable - Beyonce

This song is for those whom I wasn’t so serious with. LOL!

 

 

2. Heart of the Matter - India Arie 

This ones for the one I recently left! I admit I was the one who left and the heart of the matter of it all is forgiveness. I found the kind of peace I want for this matter. I am and haved moved on.

 

 

1. Thinking of You - Katy Perry

Surprised? Well, some of you may not be. The lyrics says it all: “Coz when I’m with him, I am thinking of you..” LOL! Yeah I was a bad girl!But heck that was the past.

 

I would also consider Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” and Nina’s “Someday” but they’d be in 6th and 7th.

How to Lose 7 Pounds in 7 Days

After the holidays, I gained 12 freaking pounds! Imagine that! I was on my way to losing weight last December 2010 but was disrupted by the holiday season because of “OH SO MANY PARTIES” where there is SO MUCH FOOD! And so pictures were uploaded from our parties and I saw myself with a bloated face and arms. So I panicked! It was dreadful. My face looked so round that I wouldn’t dare tagging myself on ‘em.

So I had to do something. I thought of using my treadmill in the house but it could be so boring. So I decided to jog outdoors. I decided to schedule a jogging time every day, including Sundays and Saturdays, for at least 2 hours. I jog at a sports center where fresh air is purely breathed. I started to jog last January 03, 2011 around 5 in the afternoon and ended at around 7pm. I weighed 155 pounds that day. So up until now, I never missed to jog every day. I have work from 8am until 4pm which could be stressful too; so jogging really helps relieve stress as well.

Before we move along, let’s talk about diet. Yes! Diet is like a weapon – when used properly, it can be very effective. Along with the everyday jogging, this is what I eat. I wake up around 6 in the morning and I do my stretching. Then I prepare my breakfast, which is cereals. Yes! A glass of milk and a bowl of cereals. That’s it! Then for lunch, I have one to two cups of rice and any kind of vegetables or fish. But recently, I eat red meat for lunch at least twice in a week. But let’s go back in losing 7 pounds in just 7 days. So let’s omit the meat first. For dinner, I only eat fruits. Nothing more nothing less. Two pieces of oranges or an apple is enough and two glasses of any flavor of juice. Keep this in mind: STRICTLY NO IN-BETWEEN MEALS! Meaning – no snacks or whatsoever! JUST WATER! Make sure to drink water all day long! But if you can’t help it, grab an apple! And take note, I sleep early around 10pm or 11pm so I can get up early in the morning.

January 08, 2011 was my seventh day! From 155 pounds, I weighed 148 pounds! So I lost 7 pounds in 7 days! I just continued my routine every day. Today is January 10, 2011. I weighed myself and I am now 143 pounds! I just lost 5 more pounds in just two days! That’s what I call a miracle with effort and discipline! I feel better, prettier and healthier. My target is to weigh 120 pounds at the end of the month! So we’ll see! Why 120? Because that’s my ideal body weight!

So if you too want to lose weight then do what I do! It’s a matter of lifestyle!
